Day 1: Aphrodisias Ancient City and Journey to Pamukkale

Visit to Aphrodisias Ancient City: Aphrodisias, known as the sacred city of Aphrodite during the Hellenistic and Roman periods, is rich in Christian history and cultural heritage. Explore the Temple of Aphrodite and the Aphrodisias Theatre, key religious sites of the ancient world. Discover the Aphrodisias Archaeological Museum, which provides in-depth insights into the religious practices and Hellenistic rituals of the era. After exploring Aphrodisias, we will enjoy lunch and continue discovering the surrounding ancient ruins.

Transfer to Pamukkale (Hierapolis): Hierapolis, famous for its natural beauty and historical significance, is also a pivotal site in early Christianity. This ancient city includes sites where early Christians lived, and Saint Philip is believed to have been martyred here. Walk through the stunning Pamukkale Travertines and the Hierapolis Ancient City. Visit the Hierapolis Theatre, the Temple of Apollo, and the sacred Plutonium. Day 2: Laodicea Ancient City and Pamukkale

It was a prominent religious and trade center during the Roman Empire.Tour the Laodicea Theatre and its grand temples. Explore the Laodicea Church, along with other Hellenistic-era structures, to understand its role in early Christian history.

Pamukkale Travertines and Healing Waters: On the return journey, revisit the unique white travertines of Pamukkale and take a leisurely walk in the serene surroundings of Hierapolis. Discover the sacred Plutonium Sanctuary and ancient Roman baths.Learn about the ancient water systems and relax in the region’s healing thermal waters.
