Day 1: Istanbul City Tour – Izmir
The day begins with a guided city tour of Istanbul. The tour includes a visit to Sultanahmet Square, the Hagia Sophia Mosque, and Topkapi Palace, where Istanbul’s rich historical heritage will be explored. The tour continues with a visit to the mysterious Basilica Cistern and free time at the Grand Bazaar for shopping. Throughout the day, guests will enjoy scenic walks and photo stops along the Bosphorus.
In the evening, a flight to Izmir will be taken. Upon arrival at Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport, guests will be transferred to Kuşadası, where they will check in at the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 2: Ephesus – Pamukkale
After breakfast, the tour proceeds to Ephesus, where guests will explore the ancient city, including the Celsus Library, Grand Theater, Marble Street, and Trajan’s Fountain.
The tour continues with a visit to the House of Virgin Mary, a sacred site for Christians. Then, guests will visit the ruins of the Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
In the afternoon, the journey continues to Pamukkale. After a three-hour drive, guests will check into their hotel in Pamukkale and have the evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Pamukkale.
Day 3: Pamukkale – Konya – Cappadocia
After breakfast, a walk through Pamukkale’s famous travertines offers stunning photo opportunities. The tour then continues to the UNESCO-listed Hierapolis Ancient City, featuring the Temple of Apollo, the ancient theater, and an extensive necropolis. Guests may choose to swim in the Cleopatra Antique Pool.
Following the tour, a five-hour drive leads to Konya, where guests will visit the Mevlana Museum and Dervish Tomb, learning about Rumi’s teachings and Sufi philosophy.
On the way to Cappadocia, a stop at the historic Sultanhanı Caravanserai provides insight into Seljuk architecture. Upon arrival in Cappadocia in the evening, guests will check in at the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 4: Cappadocia Tour
After breakfast, the Cappadocia tour begins with a visit to the Göreme Open-Air Museum, showcasing rock-carved churches with ancient frescoes. Next, guests will visit the Tokalı Church to learn about early Christian history.
The tour continues to Paşabağ Valley, famous for its fairy chimneys, and Devrent Valley, known for its imaginative rock formations. A visit to Love Valley offers breathtaking panoramic views.
In the afternoon, guests will visit Avanos, where they can observe traditional pottery making and even try their hand at the craft.
Optional activities such as a Hot Air Balloon Ride or an ATV Safari will be available during the day.
After the tour, guests return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Cappadocia.
Day 5: Cappadocia Tour – Nevşehir – Return to Istanbul
After breakfast, guests head to Ürgüp to visit the iconic Three Beauties Fairy Chimneys for a photo stop. Next, they will explore Uçhisar Castle, offering a panoramic view of Cappadocia.
The tour continues to one of the region’s largest underground cities, Derinkuyu or Kaymaklı, where guests will learn about ancient underground living.
A stop at Çavuşin Village will provide insight into rock-hewn dwellings and historic churches, followed by a scenic walk at Pigeon Valley.
After the tour, guests will be transferred to Nevşehir Airport for their return flight to Istanbul, concluding the program.
