Hagia Sophia; The Meeting Point of Two Faiths.We begin our tour at Hagia Sophia, a structure that shaped history and mesmerizes with its architecture. Built as a church in 537 by Byzantine Emperor Justinian, this building was the center of the Eastern Orthodox Church for centuries. Converted into a mosque in 1453 by the Ottomans, it now captivates visitors as a cultural symbol. Golden Mosaics: Mosaics adorned with figures of Christ, Virgin Mary, and angels are masterpieces of Byzantine art. Grand Dome: The 56-meter-high dome is one of the architectural marvels of its time. Mosque Details: The mihrab, minbar, and grand calligraphic inscriptions from the Ottoman era reflect Islamic art.

Topkapi Palace ; The Heart of Ottoman Splendor. After Hagia Sophia, we head to Topkapi Palace, where the Ottoman sultans lived for 400 years. The palace was not just a residence but also the center of Ottoman administration and treasury. Harem: The private living quarters of the sultans and their families; it stands out for its mystic atmosphere. Sacred Relics: Items sacred to the Islamic world, such as the sword and beard of Prophet Muhammad, are displayed here. Divan Hall: The place where important state decisions were made, showcasing the Ottoman governance system.

Sultanahmet Mosque (Blue Mosque) ;A Meeting of Elegance and Majesty. The Sultanahmet Mosque, one of Istanbul’s most iconic structures, was built in 1616 by Sultan Ahmet I. With its six minarets rising towards the sky, this mosque dazzles with its interior tile decorations. Blue Iznik Tiles: The blue-toned tiles that give the mosque its name are some of the most delicate examples of Ottoman art. Dome and Minarets: The central dome, 43 meters high, and its six minarets add a unique touch to Istanbul’s skyline. Courtyard: One of Turkey’s largest mosque courtyards, offering a peaceful atmosphere.

Our tour continues at the Hippodrome Square, which was the center of chariot races, ceremonies, and celebrations during the Byzantine era. Egyptian Obelisk: This obelisk brought from ancient Egypt symbolizes the power of the time. Serpent Column: A bronze column carried from ancient Greece, based on mythological stories. Woven Obelisk: An example of Byzantine stonework that adorns the square. German Fountain: A fountain gifted by Kaiser Wilhelm II, symbolizing Ottoman-German friendship.

Grand Bazaar;Where Shopping Meets History.Our last stop is the Grand Bazaar, founded in the 15th century by Sultan Mehmed the Conqueror. With over 4,000 shops, it is one of the world’s oldest and largest bazaars. Handicrafts and Jewelry: Jewelry decorated with Ottoman motifs and handmade carpets are dazzling. Spices and Turkish Delights: Colorful spices and Turkish delights will awaken your taste buds. Antiques: You can take a journey through history with historical objects and ornaments.

Basilica Cistern ; The Mysterious Underground World .The cistern was built during the Byzantine era to meet the city’s water needs. Supported by 336 columns, this mystical structure fascinates with its reflected lights and cool atmosphere. Medusa Heads: Column bases inspired by mythology. Column Forest: The majestic columns transform this space, once the city’s water reservoir, into a unique atmosphere.
