Day 1: Istanbul – Antalya – Perge (The City Where Saint Paul First Preached the Gospel)

Departing from Istanbul in the morning, we arrive in Antalya. Our first stop is the ancient city of Perge, one of the places where Saint Paul first proclaimed the teachings of Christianity. Perge holds great significance as the land where the foundations of Christianity were laid. During the visit, we will explore the historical and spiritual traces of this ancient city, walking in the footsteps of Saint Paul.

Day 2: Antalya – Aspendos – Side – Antalya

Today, we visit the Aspendos Theater and the ancient city of Side. Aspendos is renowned for having one of the best-preserved Roman theaters, which stands as a testament to the struggles faced by Christians under the oppressive Roman Empire during Saint Paul’s era. Side, a key port city at the time, was another place where Saint Paul preached Christian teachings. By exploring these regions, we will gain insights into Paul’s journeys and his mission to spread the Gospel.

Day 3: Antalya – Pisidia Antioch – Iconium (Konya) – Tarsus

We begin the day with visits to Pisidia Antioch and Iconium (modern-day Konya). Pisidia Antioch was a critical hub for Christianity, where Saint Paul delivered some of his first sermons and began forming Christian communities. In Iconium, we’ll delve into the teachings and sermons that Paul and Barnabas delivered together.

Later in the day, we travel to Tarsus, Saint Paul’s birthplace. Here, we will explore his early life, education, and the steps he took toward embracing Christianity.

Day 4: Tarsus – Cappadocia (Göreme) – The Journeys and Sermons of Saint Paul

Today, we journey to Cappadocia, where we visit the Göreme Open Air Museum and the iconic Fairy Chimneys. This sacred region served as a haven for early Christian communities. We will reflect on Saint Paul’s spiritual journeys and the impact of his early missionary activities in shaping Christianity.
